Tottenham Hotspur have appointed Antonio Conte as their new manager on a contract until the summer of 2023, with the option to extend.
Conte has been out of work since leaving Inter Milan in May, having led the Italian club to their first Serie A title in 11 years last season.
The 52-year-old has a wealth of experience in management, having also coached Juventus, Chelsea, and Italy's national team.
Conte is a highly respected manager, and his appointment is a major coup for Tottenham. He is known for his attacking style of play, and he will be expected to bring success back to White Hart Lane.
Tottenham have been without a manager since sacking Nuno Espirito Santo in November. Conte is their third manager of the season, following Nuno and Ryan Mason.
Tottenham are currently ninth in the Premier League table, and they will be hoping that Conte can help them qualify for Europe next season.
