Dallas Mavericks Injury Report

Dallas Mavericks Injuries: Maxi Kleber Returns, Luka Doncic Questionable

Kleber to bolster Mavs' frontcourt

The Dallas Mavericks received some much-needed good news on the injury front Tuesday as Maxi Kleber was cleared to return to practice. Kleber has been sidelined since mid-March with a calf injury, and his return will provide a much-needed boost to the Mavs' frontcourt.

Doncic's status uncertain

However, the Mavs also received some concerning news as star guard Luka Doncic is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Utah Jazz due to a left ankle sprain. Doncic suffered the injury in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals against the Golden State Warriors and has not played since.

Mavs face critical stretch

The Mavs are in a critical stretch of their season, as they are currently tied 2-2 with the Jazz in the Western Conference Finals. A win in Game 5 would give the Mavs a 3-2 lead and put them one win away from reaching the NBA Finals for the second time in franchise history.

The Mavs will need to be at full strength if they want to beat the Jazz and reach the NBA Finals. Kleber's return will provide a much-needed boost, but Doncic's status is still up in the air. If Doncic is unable to play, the Mavs will have to rely on other players to step up and fill the void.
