Jeffrey Wright Reprises Role for The Last of Us Season 2
Jeffrey Wright Returns to The Last of Us
Jeffrey Wright is officially reprising his voice and motion-capture role from 2020's The Last of Us Part II. Wright will once again play Isaac Dixon in the upcoming second season of the HBO series, which is based on the popular video game franchise.
New Cast Additions
In addition to Wright, The Last of Us Season 2 has added several new cast members, including Kaitlyn Dever as Abby. Dever is known for her roles in booksmart, Unbelievable, and Dopesick.
Jeffrey Wright is one of a number of new additions to the cast for season two, which is currently in production and slated for a 2023 release. Wright is the second actor from the Last of Us series to reprise their role for the live-action adaptation, following Pedro Pascal, who plays Joel.
The news of Wright's casting comes a couple of weeks after we got our first look at Pascal's Joel and Bella Ramsey's Ellie in character.
