Chennedy Carter, the fourth overall selection in the 2020 WNBA draft, has been traded from the Atlanta Dream to the Los Angeles Sparks. Carter made an impressive impact in Atlanta during her rookie season, scoring at least 25 points on four occasions. She became the fourth first-year player to score 25 points in a game for the Dream.

Carter's standout performance included a record-breaking moment. She became the youngest player in WNBA history to score 30 points when she put up 35 points against the Seattle Storm at the age of 21 years and 266 days.
